Surfing
Playa Guiones is a consistent and super fun beach break. It is not only enjoyable to the seasoned surfer but also for the beginner. It rarely gets super big but can hold a substantial swell. The great thing about Playa Guiones is that even when it does get head high or bigger it is still a manageable wave. In other words the paddle to the outside can still be done. There are various beaches close by that offer a more challenging wave. With some gas money Mateo is always game for a morning surf mission. We also rent a wide selection of surf boards , from long boards to fishes. This can be desirable since traveling with surfboards is not as cheap as it used to be.
Surf Lessons
We offer surf lessons to those who want a jump-start on the sport. We teach in one on one classes or group lessons. Just let Mateo or Kimberly know. We have ISA certified instructors.
Yoga
There are a number of great places that have daily yoga classes ranging from beginner to expert. And we also offer classes several times a week in high season. There is no better place to do yoga than in the jungle or on the beach. The sounds of the jungle or the waves in the back round make for a relaxing and full experience.
Water Fall Tours
Mateo or Kimberly are more than willing to take groups on a mini hike to a beautiful water fall tucked way back in the Nosara Valley. It is called Mala Noche and has a great swim hole and a few great spots to jump from for the more adventuresome.
