Just wanted to let everyone know that we are all safe and well… no damage from the Tsunami…. We just got a little .8 ft of tidal wave but nice surf for the morning session… the afternoon session was really windy but still fun. Tonight we are having bonfire on the beach with some Full Moon Surfing……

Thanks to all who helped make last nights party a huge Orange success!!!!!!! The Hutspot was tasty and gone before the evening was…. What a great surprise with the addition of Justin Budd and his fire show…. Tonight we will see if the UK can represent at the 1st Annual “Saturday night with the English”…..

We have had a great February so far…… Welcome back Inge, & Brian…. Sad to See Kevin leave..(dont forget to send your replacement)… and the parties  just keep happening( After we get done Surfing of course)… Tonight in Inges’  honor we are having our 2nd annual Party for the Dutch… Wear your orange and bring heinekens.. Inge and Robert are cooking the Hutspot…. Saturday night we are having the first annual party for the English…. come and see the international mix we have at the hostel…..

JAN 21- 24: Fiestas Civicas Nosara – Costa Rican calf and bull riding! This is always a great event, for visitors and a community ritual for locals. Fair food, Rides, Games,  and as always the TOROS.!!!!

15/01/10Just wanted to let you all know we made it thru the winds without much damage. Mostly the Gardens look a little rough. Surf was fun yesterday in the afternoon some nice sets rolled in with talk of a few guys getting  barreled….Have a great weekend to all!!!

Just to let you all know: we are open and surviving the strong winds… last nights surf was rideable, inbetween gusts. This morning is just a battle,  in the surf and on land. Lots of flying debris and tree limbs everywhere.  We didnt have water most of yesterday(3rd. time in a week), but have it now.  The electricity is going on and off, but mostly its on. This may explain the water issue as the pump is ran on electricity.  We are making due here, have a good supply of candles and propane. Hank and Greg and the guys are making music on the front porch, so we have great entertainment. Welcome Back Elizabeth !!!!

A BIG WELCOME HOME to Matteo, you were greatly missed….. also Thank You to everyone who helped with last nights dinner party it was a great time…. and to be topped off with the return of Hank The Pirate.!!!!!!!! and an impromptu concert by him… it was Amazing !!!!!!
